Welcome to "about us" at
Ockmonix Kennel

My name is Janne B. Lyster.

I'm born in 67, and as a little girl I had a big interest of animals.

I grew up in Molde, and it's amazing how many small animals you can keep in a girl room.

I'm married to Tore Lyster. Together we have two kids, Martin and Karoline.

We live on a small farm on the coast of Norway, near by Eidsvåg in Romsdal. It's in the between of Molde and Sunndalsøra. Mostly we are producing milk, but we also have some sheep. It's a lot of animals on the farm, we have a cows, sheep, goats, pigs, cats, rabbits, hens and off course my dogs.

I got my first Belgian Tervueren in 1989 she was named Shabby. Her pedigree name was Ter-Abyrex Ockmonik Orkan. Therefore my kennel name Ockmonix. I got my first Belgian Groenendael in 1991. A female that was named Ter-Abyrex Zhagma Zharm. Her daily name was Karmen. These two dogs was my start of breeding Belgian Sheppard's.

I had my first litter in 1992. From that litter I had one mail with the name; Ockmonix Ajack. I owned him with my sister Hilde. We had a lot of fun. He got a lot of BOB and his best result was 3BIS on NKK Biri. In 1996 he became the "Belgian of the year" in Norway.

The first Groenendael puppies was born in 1995. Our goal is not to be big, we have approximately one litter a year. My goal is to provide healthy dogs that can live with a family as well as be used as a working dog. After all, the look of the dog is not the most important. My up pinion is that the dog should be able to move his body correct. To be able to do that the dog has to have correct angels in front and rear.

Kennel Ockmonix's goal is to keep the Belgian Shepherd in shape of the standard, with its awake and beautiful look that we all loves.

This is where we lives..........
